Award Process

The award process comprises five stages:


1. Nomination

Employers must first be nominated by an employee or their union by 1 November 2011. Nominations can be made by any of the following ways:

a) Filling in the online nomination form

b) Calling us at 6838 0969 for a copy of the nomination form, filling it in and sending or faxing it back to us.  A copy of the nomination form can also be downloaded here

c) Emailing to award@fairemployment.sg giving reason(s) for the nomination, as well as your name, email, telephone number, designation, department, union branch (if applicable) and organisation.


2. Submission by Nominated Employer

Nominated employers will be notified by TAFEP and are required to complete the Award Submission Form as well as to provide the necessary supporting documentation (such as job application forms and other relevant HR policies).

To assist nominated employers in the completion of the Award Submission Form, TAFEP will be conducting briefing sessions at 4pm on 8 September, 14 September and 6 October 2011. Nominated employers can sign up for the briefing sessions by registering at award@fairemployment.sg


3.Judging Round

Shortlisted employers who qualify for the final judging round will be subjected to employee surveys and senior leadership interviews. The winner(s) of the Award will then be determined after this final judging round.


4. Award Presentation

Winner(s) of the TAFEP Exemplary Employer Award will be unveiled at the Conference on Fair Employment Practices in 2012.
